Decade Overview

The decade began with unexpected challenges, as the 2020/21 season start was delayed by six weeks due to Covid-19. Despite the disruption, the club still reached four grand finals, winning two, including an A Grade premiership. The following season saw Drew Sinclair appointed president, and by season’s end, the club celebrated a 5th XI flag. In 2022/23, plans for brand new clubrooms were proposed and approved by local council, while three teams made grand finals, two of them victorious. By 2024/25, the clubroom plans were ready to go, with construction set to begin the following season. That same year, three teams reached grand finals, including the 1st XI, who claimed the Howard Wilson Shield, and the 4th XI, who also struck gold. With multiple premierships already in the bag and major facilities upgrades on the way, this decade is shaping up to be our best since the 1980s, and we’re only halfway through.
