JUNIOR CRICKET

At Blackburn South Cricket Club, we’re proud to run a fun, supportive, and active junior program designed to help young cricketers develop skills, confidence, and a love for the game. We have teams across every junior age group, ensuring players can progress and enjoy cricket at a level that suits them.

Junior cricket matches are played in a traditional home and away fixture at the following times:

• Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 – Friday evenings from 4:30pm

• Junior Blasters (Ages 5–8) – Friday evenings from 6:00pm – 7:00pm

• Under 12 Girls – Sunday mornings from 9:00am – 11:00am

Training times and dates for each team are announced in the weeks leading up to the season, with fixtures usually released in late September and shared through our team managers.

All Junior Blaster sessions and junior team training sessions take place at our home ground, Mirrabooka Reserve, where players have access to modern training facilities, including high-quality cricket nets, a bowling machine, center wicket practice areas, and a variety of skill-specific training equipment.
